About
It’s been more than 15 years since I landed my first farm gig and began down this dirt path! What started on farms and in community gardens, grew into an obsession with rocks and native plants. The dirt is one of the only things that makes sense to me - something my body and brain can directly interact with, and something I will always be learning from.
As a kid in my home state of Florida, I spent my days roaming the neighborhood - pushing dirt around, exploring trees, and fiddling with plants. The Gulf South made me, and I try to honor its animals, plants, people in my work. A central mission of Dirty Nola is to creatively build habitats that nourish all of us here.
I’m always excited to explore new projects and possibilities - hit me up with your wildest yard dreams and wackiest ideas!
